A Magical Trip at Hong Kong Disneyland

Calling all dreamers and adventure lovers…here's a place made just for you.

Hong Kong Disneyland Entrance Fee, Ticket Prices and Tiers

Hong Kong Disneyland uses a unique pricing system for 1-day tickets.

This is based on how busy the park is expected to be. So, tickets for busier days are more expensive.

The four tiers, from cheapest to most expensive, are Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4.

For extremely busy days, like Christmas, only those guests who have purchased Tier 4 tickets will be allowed entry.

However, it is worth noting that you can visit a lower-tier day if you've purchased a higher-tier ticket (but not vice versa).

You can use their official 1-day ticket calendar to see the tier assigned to each day.

From the tonnes of attractions at Hong Kong Disneyland, here's a list of fun must-dos for you.

  2. Geyser Gulch: This is for everyone seeking a refreshing adventure. You can plunge into the heart of this geyser-filled wonderland and let the cool water sprays wash away your worries. But there's a (delightful) catch. These geysers can be quite mischievous; they love to surprise unsuspecting visitors.

  3. Wild West Photo Fun: Capture some unforgettable memories at Wild West Photo Fun, where you can pose as a notorious outlaw, languish in a mock jail cell, or strike a pose next to a humongous golden nugget. These quirky photo ops are sure to make your friends green with envy!

  4. Fairy Tale Forest: Here you'll find charming small-scale recreations of classic fairytales. Stroll through the gingerbread-laden cottages of Hansel and Gretel, marvel at the towering castle of Sleeping Beauty, and discover hidden treasures in the depths of the enchanted woods

  5. It's A Small World: A part of the Fantasyland area of Disneyland worldwide, this attraction is the largest in Hong Kong Disneyland. The water-based adventure has boats that take you through a canal, featuring 38 Disney characters apart from over 300 audio-animatronic dolls dressed in traditional costumes from around the world, dancing and singing. They sing the title song, 'It's A Small World', in line with the ride's theme - global harmony.

What to Eat - Hong Kong Disneyland Dining Options

World of Frozen - It Can't Get Anymore Magical!

Hong Kong's beloved theme park is only getting better by the day.

The reason? World of Frozen, an attraction solely dedicated to Disney's fairytale hit that's a favourite among all ages, opened its doors on November 20th.

The magical realm where summer and winter intertwine is paying tribute to the Summer Snowy Day celebration, the day Anna's act of true love saved Elsa from her icy fate.

The Gates of Arendelle will leave fans of the magical movie spellbound. Some of the frosty adventures awaiting you include:

  • Frozen Ever After: This immersive boat ride in Elsa’s Ice Palace features everyone's favourite characters and songs from the Frozen movies.

  • Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs: Here, you can enjoy a captivating coaster adventure that takes you through the enchanting Arendelle Forest, where thrilling twists and turns await riders of all ages.

  • Playhouse in the Woods: A play set in the Arendelle Forest where Anna and Elsa return to their childhood hideaway and Elsa’s magic powers will be on display.

  • Northern Delights: A sweets shop for every sweet tooth ever! Apart from creamy sweet delights, you can even buy Arendelle-inspired kitchenware and tableware here.

Expert Tips You'll Need

  1. The Perks of Avoiding Peak Visiting PeriodsTo have a blast in the park, avoid visiting during the cooler months i.e. from October to March. People also throng to see the Halloween and Christmas decorations and festivities. Also, avoid weekends, school holidays and China's Golden Week holidays, when the park is the busiest.

  2. Reach EarlyMost people reach (at least) 20-30 minutes early and line up outside. To beat the crowds and get on the most popular rides first, it's best to arrive early.

  3. Pre-book Tickets…ALWAYSAnd it's easy to imagine why! Pre-bookings often come with discounts or deals, and this always saves time and last-minute rush. Booking ahead is a smart choice, especially for massively popular places like this one.

  4. Hong Kong Disneyland App - Your Saviour!Do your legs a favour and download their free mobile app before you go. This app will help you check wait times for attractions and showtime schedules, and it even has a GPS-enabled park map. Goodbye, meaningless wandering and waiting!
