Highlights
In this tour we will go there on an "espectacular" country road, climb the mountain and go down to the town, visit a monastery and then go to Quinta dos Capuchos the most famous in the region to taste this great wine and see how it is made. We will also eat some steaks in the famous restaurant Maria Jose and have a look at the city and its sights from above. At the end of our tour we are going to drink the remaining wine in our garden at the Irondeer House.
Itinerary
Monastery of Alcobaca
2 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeYou should arrive at 8:30 to set up the bike and get ready. We start at 9, and the travel time to the monastery will be 1 hour. After coming to the Alcobaca city we will visit its main sight - the Monastery of Alcobaca. We will do a walk around for about 30 minutes, take some pictures and know some cultural and historical facts about this place.Quinta dos Capuchos
2 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedUpon arrival to Alcobaca city, we will go to Quinta dos Capuchos, the most famous in the region, to taste this magnificent grape wine and see how it is grown and made. The travel time to the Quinta will be 20-30 minutes.Restaurante Maria José
