  • Patchwork Hill

Hills that spread across the whole of Biei like patchwork. The name of this
area stems from the colorful patchwork-look of the gently-sloping hills with a
variety of crops growing in them. In this special tour, you will be able to
enter the fields, which are usually off-limits. This stroll is set in the
fields which allow the best sweeping view of the Tokachi Mountain Range, so
you can capture scenic photos from various spots.

  • When signing up for the tour, please provide the following details:

1. Full name of participant(s) and age (for insurance application)

2. Contact details (mobile phone number in Japan or accommodation name) so that we can contact you the day before and on the day itself

3. Shoe size as boots will be prepared for your use in the fields

Reminders
Please arrive at designated location 10 mins prior to departure, as tour will depart on time
If you wish to privately charter the tour, there is an additional charge of 10,000 yen per group. (pay on site)
The tour might change depending on the weather conditions.
In the event of rain, the tour may be canceled. In addition, if it was raining the previous day, the path may be muddy. Please note that even if the weather is good on the day of the tour, the tour may be canceled depending on the conditions of the fields. Thank you for your understanding.
If the tour is canceled, we will contact you the day before or the morning of the day itself, so please provide us with your contact details (mobile phone number in Japan or accommodation details).
Please indicate all participants who will enter the fields. Entering the fields is only allowed on a tour.
There are no areas with shade in the fields, so please bring along drinks to stay hydrated and towels for wiping sweat. Be sure to protect yourselves from heat stroke. (There are vending machines at the meeting place, but none at the fields.)
Before you enter the fields, please change into the boots prepared and disinfect to prevent pathogens on the soles of personal shoes from getting in. We seek your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
Please do not smoke in the fields.
In the event of uncontrollable circumstances (such as disaster, pandemic, etc.), the tour will be canceled without any cancelation fees.
Recommended Clothes: Clothes that can be dirtied (boots and a straw hat will be provided)
