Highlights

A 2-hours walking tour that takes visitors on a stroll through the Edo period castle town, visiting shrines associated with the “Shichifukujin" (Seven Gods of Fortune) !


"The Seven Gods of Fortune" is the collective name for seven gods of happiness who have long been beloved in Japan. It is said that worshipping the Seven Gods of Good Fortune removes seven kinds of misfortune and bestows seven kinds of happiness.
This tour will visit five shrines related to the Seven Gods of Fortune.


In Japan, you can receive a "Goshuin"(red ink stamp) as a sign of your visit to the shrine.
The design of the "Goshuin" varies from shrine to shrine.
In this tour you will get three red ink stamps. It will be great memories!


Explore Ningyōchō, a charming district in the heart of Tokyo that seamlessly blends tradition and modernity.
Along the way, you will taste "ningyo-yaki" (doll-shaped pancakes), and tea soft serve.

  • Itakuraya

    The trip begins with fun Japanese sweets in cute shapes! Ningyo-yaki is a traditional Japanese sweet baked in the shape of an animal or doll and filled mainly with red bean paste. It is said that Ningyocho is the birthplace of this Japanese sweet. Visitors can watch the making of Ningyo-yaki at the storefront.
  • Koami Shrine

    Let's begin our tour of shrines dedicated to the Seven Gods of Good Fortune! First is Koami Shrine. "Benzaiten" (the Goddess of financial fortune and art ) and "Fukurokuju" (the God of wisdom and longevity) are enshrined at this shrine. Visitors can experience “zeni-arai,” washing of coins, which is said to increase money if washed coins are placed in your wallet. Get a Goshuin here!
  • Suitengu Shrine

    Suitengu Shrine enshrines Benzaiten, the goddess of Hinduism. This shrine is famous as a shrine for safe delivery and childbirth.
  • Morinoen

    This store specializes in Japanese tea with a history of over 100 years. The surrounding area is filled with the delicious aroma of freshly roasted Japanese tea. Be sure to try the popular tea soft serve ice cream.
  • Suehiro Shrine

    Visit a shrine dedicated to Bishamonten, the god of war. You can get the second Goshuin ( red ink stamp ) here.
  • Suginomori Shrine

    20 minsAdmission Ticket Free
    The last God is Ebisu (god of business prosperity), the only Japanese deity among the Seven Gods of Good Fortune. You will also receive third Goshuin.
