Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens is Japan's largest herb garden, boasting a collection of approximately 75,000 herb varieties and 200 flower species in bloom year-round. Comprising 12 expansive garden areas, you are treated to a warm welcome with seasonal herbs and flowers arranged around thematic motifs. While ascending to the garden via a 10-minute ropeway ride, revel in panoramic vistas of Kobe City, as well as the Nunobiki no Taki Falls and the Gohonmatsu Entei (Nunobiki Gohonmatsu Dam).
Great views
Very enjoyable walk through herb cultivation along the slopes of the Mount Rokko range. Cable car service was smooth and well explained. There are three points along the cable car journey and after you have reached the middle station you can take as many times as you want between the middle and top stations, or choose to walk up or down. Do visit the glasshouse for a great view of the town!
Redemption is smooth and easy. There wasn't a crowd when we went but I've seen reviews that it can get busy so it will definitely help to book online. It is a really pretty place with many flowers and herbs. If you enjoy nature, highly recommend this place! You can choose to enjoy just the area around the ropeway as it is plenty or choose to hike up/down to enjoy more parts of the garden.
Exchange the tickets and used it immediately. Very easy
The place is amazing, we just didn't plan enough time to stay. If you like flowers and photos, you will need mostly the whole day here.
Was lucky to visit the place eith Christmas theme event during late November. Great view and hot food.
