Lake Shikotsu
A beautiful lake surrounded by majestic nature appears when you run through the endless virgin forest. It is Japan's northernmost ice-free lake (a lake that does not freeze even in winter), and was selected as "the cleanest water in the country" by the Environment Agency, and is known for one of the most crestal-clear water in the country.
Lake Shikotsu Hyoto Ice Festival will be held from February 1 to February 24.
Note1: Dates are subject to change due to weather conditions.
Note2: Admission fee is not included in the tour. Please pay 1000 JPY by yourself at the venue.
Lake Toya
A caldera lake that was created by a volcanic eruption about 100,000 years ago. We will have lunch at Toya Kohan-tei on the shores of Lake Toya. After lunch, take a leisurely stroll along the shores of Lake Toya in front of you.
Mt. Usu
It was designated as the first global geopark in Japan in August 2009, which is a natural park where you enjoy the earth while being supported by nature observation trails, commentary signs and guides. You can take a ropeway tour to the top of Mt. Usu.
This is a recommended winter course that allows you to visit two representative lakes of Hokkaido in one day.

①The Lake Shikotsu Cruise Boat is not in service and will not be available.
The Lake Shikotsu Visitor Center will be closed every Tuesday between Dec. 1 - Mar 31. (If Tuesday is a holiday it will be closed the next day, and it will be open during the Hyoto Festival.) (This is subject to change.)
Show your Regular Sightseeing bus ticket stub at Restaurant memere (restaurant and gift shop), and get 10% off on meals and souvenirs. (Not applicable to some items, Memer is closed irregularly.)
②Lake Shikotsu Hyoto Ice Festival (Feb. 1 - Feb. 24) is optional, but due to limited to only 47 minutes, so if you plan to visit the festival, please be sure to meet back at the bus on time.
If you decide to check it out, there will be an extra admission fee: adults ¥1,000, Elementary school students and under free.
③Though there is a footpath to the summit of Mt.Usu, it is wise to wear clothing and shoes that are easy to move and walk in.
You can get discount ticket for Brown Bear Zoo with showing your bus stub. (Adult:\900→\800 Child: \500→\400).
If the ropeway is closed due to strong wind or inclement weather, you will receive a token of your trip to the ropeway , and will visit the Brown Bear Zoo instead. (subject to change.)
*This course may be cancelled in the event that the expressway or Bifue Pass closed due to heavy snowfall.
