Highlights
When you try scuba diving in Gran Canaria with Puerto Rico Diving, we make the difference. We always conduct our try dives in small groups as we believe this makes your first experience under water more relaxing and fun! We take everything at a pace you are comfortable with and allow you to discover a whole new world under the sea.
At Puerto Rico Diving we believe it is important that your first taste of scuba diving should be as relaxing, informative and safe as possible.
Itinerary
Buffet Pekin II
-Upon pick up we will take you straight to the dive site, Playa de Amadores *. If you come to our dive centre we will drive you to the dive site. Your instructor will introduce themselves and get you ready to start your Try Dive experience. -First your instructor will go through the paperwork with you and answer any questions you may have. - Whilst you are filling in the paperwork we will start to get your equipment ready for the try dive. - When everything is ready your instructor will give you a detailed briefing about what to expect in the water. You will put the equipment on and walk the short distance to the ocean. -Once in the water your instructor will slowly introduce you to breathing with the scuba equipment. When you feel ready you will start in shallow water by learning a few basic skills, after this you will go for a guided dive under the direct supervision of your instructor. *Please note if the weather conditions at Playa de Amadores are not suitable for diving we may take you to a different diving location further away.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels
All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, blood pressure problems, diabetes will require clearance from a Dr)
Minimum age is 10 years
A minimum of 12 hours is required between diving and flying for 1 dive
A minimum of 18 hours is required between diving and flying for multiple dives
Not recommended for travellers with asthma or other lung conditions
Travellers with health conditions such as Asthma, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Recent Surgeries, Heart/Lung Disease, Sinus/Ear Issues and those taking Prescription Medications will be required to have a Dr sign and stamp a medical form to clear them to participate in this activity
A Medical Questionnaire will be sent to you via a digital check in form within 24 hours of making your booking. You must read this and check you are fit to participate in our activity
