Explore the beauty of Khao Sok National Park with an amazing elephant bathing experience in the green jungle before bamboo rafting along the river with a unique coffee break on the bank.
Discover the wild beauty of Khao Sok National Park on a full-day guided trip from Khao Sok. Feed and bathe elephants and take a bamboo raft downstream. Enjoy a Thai lunch, visit a market, and try local coffee.
Following pickup from your hotel in Khao Lak, head to the Takuapa local market (only guests picked up from Khao Lak. Guests from other pick-up locations will not visit the local market) to browse and look at all the products.
From there, continue to the elephant rescue camp. Feed these amazing animals some bananas and cool them off with a bath. Next, visit the monkey temple. Eat a Thai-style lunch at the local restaurant next to the river before bamboo rafting along the Khao Sok River.

stop 1: local market - quite underwhelming, just an average market you get to see pretty much anywhere - could have been better if the guide gave some explanation here stop 2: khao sok elephant conservation camp - first of all, no need to worry you will get wet as the water is likely just knee-deep when you shower the elephant - the tour could have been better if there was more explanation on the elephant which is following us - the conduct of the tour was pretty much left to your own trip guide and the camp staff were taking a hands off approach stop 3: khao sok viewpoint - not the most worthy viewpoint as the views en route to the next stop and at the next stop are way more beautiful - could have explored one of the cafes there for future trips stop 4: bamboo rafting - this is what i paid for and the most calming part of the trip - i was treated to many awesome views of the limestone cave views - you will not get wet here as there are chairs on the bamboo raft - 10 to 15 mins in, you will need to do a simple hike up to the front of a cave, where the captains will make coffee/tea (quite an interesting camping experience) - 10/10 for this experience stop 5: lunch - all chicken meal - average taste but serves its purposes - beers are available at your own expense - toilets are clean stop 6: monkey temple - can only see the temple from outside - quiet place to observe the monkeys (good if you have not seen one before but boring if you have seen too many) other: - the guide was not very proficient in english and almost everyone had difficulties comprehending what he has to say - while i can accept most sorts of humour, the guide was okay but there is no need to repeat the same thing 7x if we already cannot comprehend what he is trying to say - i can accept his loudness due to his enthusiam but it can really be quite draining for a full day trip
