Itinerary
Semien Mountains
- Morning at 8.30am, pickup from your designated location within Gondar. - Drive Gondar to Debark (2 hours) - Process entrance permission at Debark and continue 27km into the park. - Leave the car Sankabar camping site and start the 3 hours hike to Jinbar waterfall (500m sheer drop)! - During the hike enjoy the spectacular cliffs, valleys and views of the park. - Enjoy the endemic and all time entertaining Gelada baboon, Ethiopian fox and other bird life including the famous Lammergeyer bird. - Finally meet the car at Jinbar and drive back to Debark and continue to Gondar.
