Set off on a scenic journey aboard the vintage, coal-powered steamship TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak High Country Farm. As you depart Queenstown, enjoy breathtaking views over the sparkling Lake Wakatipu. While onboard, indulge in the nostalgic charm of sing-alongs to favorite old tunes, marvel at the ship’s original steam engines (in operation since 1912), and explore the mini-museum to learn about the fascinating history of the steamer.

Upon arrival at Walter Peak, relax with a delightful morning or afternoon tea as you take in the stunning alpine landscape. Stroll through the picturesque lakeside gardens before embarking on a guided farmyard tour. Meet the friendly sheep, highland cattle, deer, and goats, and witness a captivating sheepdog demonstration. You’ll also have the opportunity to see sheep shearing in action and learn about the farming practices.

After the tour, hop back aboard the TSS Earnslaw for a scenic return cruise across the lake to Queenstown.
