It was used as a place for celebration, pleasure, and rehabilitation by the prince archbishops. The bishops used Hellbrunn as a holiday domicile with a huge park and trick fountains. It was very modern to build pleasure palaces in the early 17th century. You will receive a guided tour of the trick fountains followed by an audio-guided tour of the castle. In winter you can visit Mozart's Residence instead (the trick fountains and the castle are closed during the winter month).
