It is located in the Glen Canyon Recreational Area, 5 miles downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell. Many come to see the Horseshoe Bend and overlook 42,000 feet on the Bend via the steep cliff above the meander. The duration for visiting Horseshoe Bend is just around 1 hour. There will be some minutes for transferring you from the previous attraction to Horseshoe Bend.
