Please provide any mobility and wheelchair access requirements. Also note that visitors with limited mobility can contact us for special requirements, such as wheelchairs or walkers. Ancient Rome area and Vatican Museums visits involve significant walking. The Colosseum elevators are available for visitors with mobility issues. The Roman Forum and Palatine surfaces are uneven, but a considerable portion of the area has wheelchair paths.
WHEELCHAIRS, WALKERS AND STROLLERS: We suggest avoiding strollers and using a baby sling instead. Like wheelchairs and walkers, strollers are not allowed in the passage from the Sistine Chape directly to the Basilica ( 50 steps downward and 50 upwards). Your private tour will end without the Basilica visit.
