BBQ Lunch Menu: Bread rolls, fresh salads, vegetarian tart, herb-crusted butternut squash, buttered potatoes and other seasonal vegetables.
Breads: Foccacia, rosemary and flaky sea salt; White sourdough baguette; Rye and caraway seed bread.
Salads and Entree:
Antipasto Selection: Spicy marinated mixed olives, semi dried tomatoes, artichoke in sunflower oil & herbs, pickled green pimento chili, roasted red capsicum.
Outdoor Grill: Includes spiced chicken, shoulder of pork, Cardona lamb, local Zamora sausage and Southland beef.
Selection of Desserts: Includes chocolate mousse, cakes, ice cream and fruit.
New Zealand Cheese Board: Enjoy luxurious cheese platters featuring delicious NZ cheeses.
Freshly Brewed Coffee and Tea: Need a perk me up? Indulge in a delightful cuppa or a hot cup of freshly steeped tea.
Gourmet International Selection: The BBQ is adapted to suit the differing nationalities by the Walter Peak chef, i.e. accompanying baked potatoes, Asian vegetables, noodles, or rice option.
BBQ Dinner Menu: Includes all of the above, PLUS fresh market fish and a wide selection of seafood.
Additional Dessert Options: Walter Peak sticky date pudding, vanilla cheesecake with freeze dried raspberry crumble, red fruits gel, ice cream, sorbet, Callebaut dark chocolate mousse, lemon tart, seasonal red berries, coffee bavaroise and sabayon cream, Walter Peak pavlova, lemon curd, bitter orange cake, classic crème brulee.
Menu items are subject to seasonal changes. On Christmas Day (25th December), the BBQ Lunch will be replaced with a special Christmas menu, including a glass of sparkling wine (available only on the midday departure). Please note, there will be no farm demonstration on Christmas Day.
