We had to wait an hour or so on a Sat evening but they gave us a time to return to the queue so we were able to do some shopping and did not have to linger at the waiting area. Food wise, it is similar to taste to the Singapore outlets.
Food was good. This order also allowed us to use a more expedited line to get our table in 30-35 minutes. Otherwise it would've taken an hour or more.
Din Tai Fung in Taipei serves more refined food that those in Singapore. And booking through Pelago saves us time to queue, which reached 3 hours for walk in guests. Highly recommended to book ahead.
The portion is too small. not a good value

Food is good, package price seems a bit on the high side based on on the number of dishes served.
