Itinerary
Punta Arenas
We will leave at 7:30 AM from our hotels in Punta Arenas to head to the pier. Here we will take the ferry that will take us through the mythical Strait of Magellan to cross to the Island of Tierra del Fuego. This journey will take us approximately 2:30 Hrs. We will dock at Porvenir, where we will visit the Fernando Cordero Museum. Here we can learn more about the life of the Selknam, the ancient inhabitants of the island. Once we finish our visit, we will have time for lunch. After lunch, we will go to the Parque Pingüino Rey. Here lives a permanent colony of these beautiful birds, which are the second largest after the Emperor Penguin, which inhabits Antarctica. After the visit we will go to Primera Angostura, where we will take the ferry back and cross to the mainland to head back to Punta Arenas.
