Become part of our whanau (Family) and learn about New Zealand's beautiful Maori culture through this amazing experience.
Practise the traditional Māori greeting, the Hongi which is done by pressing one's nose and forehead, at the same time, to another encounter.
Watch Haka Performance (War Dance) directly from knowledgeable and passionate descendants of the
land wearing traditional clothes.
Explore rare and spectacular plants in an ever-changing display can be seen in each of the two barrel-vaulted Victorian style glass houses in the Winter Gardens. Your tour guide will teach you on our Authentic Musical Instruments, Dances and Games that our ancestors have used for generations.
Experience a traditional Karakia (prayer) greeting from your guide before you enjoy a delicious pre-packed picnic Lunch and learn about the culture of sharing Kai (food).

1. Travel must commence on the day specified when the tour is purchased unless notified otherwise.
2. Prices are in New Zealand Dollars.
3. Child age is from 3-12 years old. Infant (0-2)
4. For Airline Crew Special Price you must present a Valid Aircrew ID to be legible for the discount.
5. Travel agent vouchers or website E-Tickets are not valid until confirmed by Auckland & Beyond Tours.
Cancellation policy (Private Tours)
In the event, you have purchased a Private tour and subsequently wish to cancel it, Auckland & Beyond Tours may refund your booking at its sole discretion, in which event you will be charged a cancellation fee as follows:
a. 7 - 10 days prior to the date of the tour – 25% of your ticket plus any booking fees and charges.
b. 73 hours - 6 days prior to the date of the tour – 50% of your ticket plus any booking fees and charges.
c. 72 hours or less will be charged 100% of the ticket.
All accommodation and third-party reservations are non-refundable.
Admin charges may apply for any cancellation.

In the event, you have purchased a group tour and subsequently wish to cancel it, Auckland & Beyond Tours may refund your booking at its sole discretion, in which event you will be charged a cancellation fee as follows:

b. 49 hours - 6 days prior to the date of the tour – 50% of your ticket plus any booking fees and charges.
c. 48 hours or less will be charged 100% of the ticket.
