Highlights
Enjoy cycling along the Elbe cycle route combined with a relaxed paddling on the calm Elbe river through the deepest sandstone canyon in Europe. This is a private tour, so you can take your time to enjoy and admire the unique landscape.
The bike path runs along the river without an elevation gain, even children will enjoy the trip. Great for sporty families. On this round tour you will cycle from Bad Schandau in Germany to Děčín in the Czech Republic and paddle back in a canoe. Fancy cross border tour! We care about the equipment and the whole transportation for your hassle free day. We´ll provide you with complete cycling and paddling quallity equipment.
Itinerary
Kemp Děčín
We´ll meet with other travelers at the meeting point. You´ll get the bikes including our genuine tour map. Afterwards you start the cycling to Decin in Czech Republic on your own. It is 23 km to reach the campsite in Decin where we´ll meet you personaly in twoo hours (12:30 latest) to switch the bikes for the canoes incl. life jackets, paddles, dry bags. There you will get a boat and you will paddle on the calm river back to Bad Schandau to Germany. At the meeting point in Bad Schandau (left river side 300 m in front of the road bridge) we´ll collect the canoes and the equipment and you can enjoy the rest of the day. The canoe tour takes some 4 - 5 hours (5:30 pm latest arrival).
