Itinerary

  • Manjanggul Cave

1 hours 30 minsAdmission Ticket Not Included
Manjanggul Lava Tube, located in Gimnyeong-ri, Jeju, is part of the Geomunoreum Lava Tube system. The lava tube stretches roughly 7,400 meters, with a maximum height of 25 meters and width of 18 meters. These measurements make it one of the largest lava tubes in the world. Manjanggul holds great value for science and conservation studies, having well-maintained formations despite being formed over one hundred thousand years ago. The majority of the cave is closed off, with only 1 kilometer being open to tourists. Within this open section, visitors can see a variety of lava tube and cave topographical features, including stalagtites, stalagmites, and stone pillars. Among these, the 7.6-meter-tall stone pillar at the end of the open section is recorded as the largest in the world.
  • Yumin Art Nouveau Collection

1 hours 30 minsAdmission Ticket Not Included
Located by the beach near Cape Seopjikoji of Jeju, Yumin Art Nouveau Collection exhibits the most elegant and beautiful glass crafts. The artworks by Ecole de Nancy artists such as Émile Gallé, Auguste Daum, Antonin Daum, Eugène Michel, which comprise the majority of the museum’s holdings, feature their elegant silhouette and colors inspired by nature. The building itself has intriguing architectural elements such as exposed concrete facades, walls made of basalt, and long horizontal windows. The structure was designed by internationally renowned architect Ando Tadao, creating a space for visitors to focus on naturalistic features of water, wind, light, and sound. Don’t miss the stunning views of Cape Seopjikoji and Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone overlooked from “Grand Wing” installed in the museum garden.
  • Gwangchigi Beach

    1 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
Gwangchigi Beach boasts one of the most pristine and spectacular views along Jeju's coastline. In the distance is Seongsan Sunrise Peak, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site and jewel of Jeju Island.
  • Seongsan Ilchulbong

    2 hoursAdmission Ticket Not Included
Seongsan Ilchulbong has long been considered one of the top scenic destinations in Korea. It attracts millions of visitors a year, many of whom climb to the top for the breathtaking panoramic view of the ocean, Udo Island, Hallasan Mountain, and the volcanic landscape of the east.
  • Seongeup Folk Village

1 hours 30 minsAdmission Ticket Free
Located at the foot of Halla Mountain on Jeju Island, Seongeup Folk Village is a small town that holds a vast amount of culture over a wide period of time from 1410 to 1914. Cultural properties in the folk village have been handed down from generation to generation and include treasures such as residential houses, Confucian shrines and schools, ancient government offices, stone statues, large millstones (pulled by horses or ox), fortress ruins, and stone monuments. Among the cultural gems of the folk village are intangible cultural assets such as folk plays, native foods, local folk craftsmanship, and local dialect. Even the trees are an important part of the area’s heritage. Several zelkova and nettle trees that are hundreds of years old stand at the center of the village, preserving the dignified atmosphere of a bygone era. The Seongeup Folk Village shows the unique culture of Jeju Island.
  • Seopjikoji

1 hours 30 minsAdmission Ticket Free
Seopjikoji, which is located on the east coast of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, is a beautiful coastline filled with canola flowers during the spring, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak rising up in the background, and the stunning Sinyang Beach nearby. What makes Seopjikoji different from other coasts in Jejudo Island is that it is made of red volcanic ash called “scoria”, and possesses strange rock formations that only show themselves when the tide is low are unique. It's the filming site for movies and TV dramas like "The Legend of Gingko," "The Uprising," "Cheonilya," and "All In." The picturesque blue house at the sea where Choi Jin-sil lived in in the movie "The Legend of Gingko" was based on this site. As such, there is no shortage of tourists who seek this place out.
