You will not find steep hills or sudden drop-offs, instead you will walk over smooth, well kept grass, you will be able to simply admire all the structures or walk to the top of some of the most majestic Mayan Ruinss to be found in Central America.

This magificent Ruins is located just about thirty one miles north of Belize City. Just past the village of Sand Hill on the Northern Highway, a right turn onto the Old Northern Highway at about Mile 20 leads you to Altun Ha. Altun Ha is located close to the Belize City Port, a short 1hr drive from the Cruise Ship Terminal. Altun Ha Mayan Ruins is also accessible by river from the coast. From the Northern River route, it is necessary to drive from Bomba through Maskall to Altun Ha.
