valid, you can only drive for one year from the date you landed in Japan.

About vehicle/property accident deductible compensation system
This is a voluntary system that covers the vehicle deductible and property

Regarding liability compensation
● Rental car insurance details

automobile liability insurance)
Property: 1 accident limit unlimited (deductible amount: JP¥50,000 )
Vehicle: Maximum amount per accident Market value (deductible amount:
JP¥50,000 )
Personal injury: up to JP¥30 million per person (limited number of people)
● Regarding deductible amount (What is the deductible compensation system?)
1. In the event of an accident while using a rental car, the deductible will
be the amount that the customer pays, which is approximately JP¥50,000 for the
property + JP¥50,000 to JP¥100,000 for the vehicle.
2. In order to waive the deductible amount, you can join the deductible
compensation system.
*The product includes liability insurance.
3. However, please note that if you commit a violation or cause an accident,
neglect to notify the police, or do not have an accident certificate, you will
not be covered even if you are covered by the exemption system.
● Non-operation charge (NOC)
In the unlikely event that an accident occurs in a rented car and the vehicle
requires repair or parts replacement, the following amount will be reimbursed
as part of the business compensation for the repair period, depending on the
degree of damage, repair period, or exemption system. This fee will be
accepted regardless of whether or not you are a member.
(1) If the rental car is self-propelled: From JP¥50,000
(2) If the rental car is not self-propelled: From JP¥100,000
- Even if the vehicle is returned by itself, a JP¥100,000 fee may be charged in the event of a serious accident.
● Cases where insurance/compensation system is not applicable
1. The customer will be responsible for any damage that is not covered by the
compensation system or that exceeds the compensation limit.
2. If the prescribed procedures such as contacting the police and our company
were not followed at the time of the accident.
3. If the rental agreement is violated.
- Damage caused by nuisance (illegal) parking
- All accidents that violate traffic laws
- Drinking and driving under the influence of alcohol
- drug use
- Unauthorized extension
- Driving by someone other than the lessee specified in the contract or an
assistant driver authorized by the lessee specified in the contract
- Driving without a license (including when the driver's license is suspended
or in violation of the type of vehicle that can be driven)
- In case of settlement without permission
- When used for various tests/competitions, or for towing/backing other
vehicles

4. In cases where the disclaimer of the insurance terms and conditions of
non-life insurance concluded by our company applies.
- Intentional accident
- Lost or damaged key
- Damage to property owned, used, or managed by the customer

5. If there is a fault in use or management.
- If the vehicle is stolen because the vehicle was parked with the key in or
unlocked.
- Damage due to damage or corrosion to the vehicle body caused by poor usage.
- Dirty interior equipment
- Loss or damage of equipment (punk, burst, boil cap)
- Damage to the vehicle when driving on roads other than roads such as
coasts, riverbeds, or forest areas (accidents on roads other than maintained

- Maintenance costs if the wrong type of fuel is used when refueling
