Highlights
We all should discover and mesmerize at the greatness of the Amazon once in our lifetime. In this 5-day trip you will be in a deep connection with nature and locals, as you explore the ecological surroundings of the Colombian Amazon and its borders with Brazil and Perú. You will visit Leticia and Puerto Nariño, as well as hike in the rainforest and some natural reservoirs. Besides, you will learn about the indigenous culture by their own hands. All this focused on a sustainable tourism and local experiences.

Itinerary
Brazilian Border
Tabatinga
8 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeThe journey will start at Leticia’s airport. After you pay the tourism tax, you will meet one of our local guide who will pick you up. Once ready, you will visit the Brazilian border of the Amazon: Tabatinga. Afterwards you will enjoy a delicious typical lunch on a floating restaurant. You will visit Leticia and the famous Parque de los loros (Park of parrots). At the end of the day you will try Capirinha a typical Amazonian and Brazilian cocktail. You will spend the night in Leticia.
Indigeneous communities
Amazon River
8 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeOn this day you will visit an indigenous community in their Maloka. You will have to carry a light backpack for the day out. To get there you will hike deep in the rainforest for about 2 hours. The guide will hand you rubber boots. After getting to the Maloka, you will have the chance to spend time with them. You will learn from their customs and traditions. You will sleep in a hammock and you will have your meals there. You can finish the day with a night hike if chosen.
Leticia to Puerto Nariño

12 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeEarly in the morning you will leave the Maloka to visit other parts of the Amazon. You will make a stop on the Peruvian Amazon to visit an indigenous community. You will also visit a natural reservoir to see the marvelous Victoria Regia, Isla de los Micos and the Tikuna indigenous community. Then, in Puerto Nariño you will head to the hotel. You will be able to decide whether you want to tour around the town or rest the rest of the day.
Puerto Nariño and Tarapoto Lake

12 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeFrom Puerto Nariño you will go to San Antonio del Cacao, a Peruvian island. You will go in search of sloths and to explore the flora and fauna and learn from the region and its history. You will go back to Puerto Nariño and you will take another boat to Tarapoto Lake. You will spend the night in a hut in front of the river. Here, you will be able to swim, fish, walk around and enjoy a night firepit.
Puerto Nariño - Leticia
Leticia
3 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeOn the last day you will enjoy the morning in Tarapoto lake and afterwards you will go back to Puerto Nariño and then back to Leticia to finish your trip.
