Highlights
Drive through the scenic beauty of Bali's rice terraces and lush vegetation for a day of adventure at the Mount Batur volcano on a classic Volkswagen all-terrain jeep. Stop at Penelokan, where you'll reach the rim of a massive caldera, 14 kilometres across, with a breathtaking view of Mount Batur.
Continue your safari on the truck route into the old crater to see huge lava flows that have covered most of the vegetation. At the edge of the caldera are big trees inhabited by wild monkeys. Climb up a lava dune with a stunning view of the mountain and the black lava. Learn about the thirty million years of history that formed this area and its surroundings.
Stop to meet the local farmers on your way to some natural hot springs for a dip to soothe your aches and pains. Indulge in a buffet lunch before visiting a Balinese coffee plantation.

Excellent trip. Drivers were superb in road handling, providing good company throughout. Helpful suggestions along the way and gladly assisted with photo taking. Included lunch was very delicious. Was able to customise trip to family's request at ad-hoc request. Good with young children too!
We had a wonderful trip with Froggy! Driving around in the vintage convertible was a fun experience and Froggy explained many things to us and put in additional stops as the rice-fields in the morning as we were passing by on our way to the volcano. We enjoyed it so much, that my husband booked another tour snorkeling with Froggy. We can highlight recommend this tour.
This was a fantastic day . Keep a lot of fun and saw some lovely parts of Bali . Views, lave field and hot springs all worth a visit . Froggy was our driver and was excellent in every respect . Knowledgeable, friendly and great English as well as being a safe and carful driver . We highly recommend this trip .
✅ On time pickup ✅ Friendly and accommodating driver with a great name (Froggy!) and good English ✅ Clean vehicle ✅ Scenic routes and many beautiful views, and Froggy helped us take lot of good photos. ✅ Good value and very convenient for a half-day staycation activity! We saw a lot for such a short period of time — left our hotel in Ubud around 7am and were back shortly after lunch because my husband doesn’t like soaking in hot springs so we skipped that part of the tour.
