Enjoy the scenic highlights of the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park and keep a
look out for the wildlife! This 60 minute glass bottom boat cruise takes place
in the ruggedly spectacular coastlines of Penguin, Seal & Bird Islands and
takes advantage of the best wildlife spotting opportunities of the day. Wild
dolphins, rare Australian sea lions, pelican rookeries, and birds of prey are
regularly sighted and our friendly crew will get you right amongst the action!
The cruise concludes on Penguin Island allowing for a 30 minutes for your
guided wildlife walk of Penguin Island, providing exclusive insight into the
local penguins, the spectacular landscapes and the natural history of the
island and if you have more time then you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling,
exploring the nature trails or just relax and enjoy the beautiful nature
reserve. Before returning on the ferry at your own leisure.

You may select any preferred Ferry transfer to Penguin Island beforehand as
long as it is booked before your Dolphin, Sea Lion and Penguin Island Cruise
departure time. Return ferries are every 15-minutes past the hour and do not
need to be booked in!

Other Information: Our crew will ensure visitors receive the best wildlife
viewing opportunities on your cruise. We ask you to please respect the
Shoalwater Island Marine Park. We are entering a natural habitat therefore
animals sightings are not guaranteed as we do not feed or train them.

Check In and Departure Information
You MUST check-in at least 30 minutes prior to your selected departure
ferry time to collect your physical boarding pass. Please present all
concession and companion cards at check in. All passengers MUST check-in
inside the Visitor Centre (NOT the Gazebo) to receive a hard copy of your
ticket, (your confirmation email is NOT a boarding pass).
What to expect for the Guided Wildlife Walk:
You will receive a wristband for each member of the group for a specific time
slot to endure your guided wildlife walk. We encourage everyone to take over a
full water bottle, appropriate footwear for walking, a hat and sunscreen.

What to do if you're Running Late
If you are running late, please call our office on (08) 9591 1333. Please be
aware that no refund will be offered if you miss the tour.
**How to get Here **
Perth Wildlife Encounters is located at 153 Arcadia Drive, Shoalwater,
WA.
Please allow 50 minutes if driving from Perth. There's a free car park next to
the Visitor Centre or extra parking at the Safety Bay Bowling Club located at
130 Gloucester Crescent,
Shoalwater.

What to Bring
There are no shops or Café’s on Penguin Island; you are more than welcome to
bring your own packed lunch and/or purchase any food and drink from Pengos
Café to take over with you (please purchase food after checking in). Penguin
Island has public toilets, picnic benches and a fresh water drinking fountain.
We recommend bringing a weatherproof jacket, shoes of any kind and sunscreen.
You can participate in swimming and snorkeling on the island so ensure you
bring swimwear!

with guarantee penguin sightings as the colony of penguins on Penguin Island
