Itinerary
Day 0
Pick Up Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel and office in Senaru.Senaru
Once you arrive, complete your registration and do a short briefing with your guide where you will learn about the trekking procedure for the next day.Sindang Gile
If you arrive during the day, at least 1 hour before sunset, you will have the option to visit Sindang Gile and Tiu Kelap Waterfall.Day 1
Pick Up (6:30AM) Pick up from the hotel lobby and transfer to Rinjani Information Center (RIC) in Sembalun Lawang Village (1,156m).Post 1 Pemantauan
The trek starts with a gentle ascent where you will walk through open grassland used for cattle grazing by local people, after which take a rest stop at Post 1 Pemantauan (1,300m).Post 2 Tengengean
Continue the trek to reach Post 2 Tengengean (1,500m) and enjoy the beautiful views of the Mt. Rinjani summit.Sembalun Crater Rim Camp
Depart Post 2 and resume the trek. Pass by Post 3 Pada Balong (1,800m) and get the chance to observe wildlife such as wild pigs and the long-tailed grey macaque monkeys as you make your way to Sembalun Crater Rim Camp (2,639m).Sembalun Crater Rim Camp (5:30PM)
Spend the night resting at the Sembalun Crater Rim Camp before continuing the ascent to the summit in the early morning.Day 2
Sembalun Crater Rim Camp (2:30AM) After a light breakfast, start the 3-hour climb to the summit.Summit
Upon reaching the summit, admire the amazing sunrise views across the Wallace Line to Bali, Mt. Agung and Sumbawa.Lake Segara Anak
After another breakfast, hike down to lake Segara Anak (2,000m), and spend the rest of the day relaxing and swimming in the lake while also exploring the caves and hot springs.Sembalun Crater Rim Camp (5:30PM)
Climb up back to Sembalun Crater Rim Camp for dinner and spend the night there.Day 3
Sembalun Crater Rim Camp (6:30AM-8:00AM) After breakfast, journey down through the thick tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and a variety of butterflies.Post 3 Mondokon Lokak
Take some rest stops along the way to Post 3 Mondokon Lokak while you learn about village stories and local legends from your guide.Rinjani Information Center (4:00PM)
After a seven-hour trek from the rim, the journey ends at the Rinjani Information Center where you will be transferred back to your accommodation or the airport.

This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
You are recommended to arrive in Senaru the day before the activity date to avoid any delays the next day. One night's accommodation in Senaru is included in your package. However, you do have the option to arrive on the same day as the trekking.
The accommodation in Senaru is at Sinar Rinjani Cottage or similar. If you're a group of 2 pax, you will be sharing one twin-bed room. If you're a group of 3, you will be sharing one twin-bed room with an extra bed.

Tour was great & our guide was very helpful. Take note that the 3D2N is tougher than the 4D3N. You will be connected via WhatsApp.
The company catered for all aspects of the trip from providing me with super-enthusiatic guides and porters to making sure my accomodation (tent) on the mountain is suitable enough for us to sleep in. They will never stop catering for your every needs and requirements and even if you have to cut short your trek due to personal issues after the summit, they are able to arrange transport and fit your itinerary nicely at a momenet's notice. Please note that this company is a family-oriented business and they are more interested in showing you the beauty of Mount Rinjani than money itself. Your happiness is super important to them, so please kindly support this company instead of others which we have seen on multiple occassions where their guides leave their customers hanging without a shred of concern unless money is involved.
