Please note: The Jacobite Steam Train is operated by another company. We cannot always guarantee that your tour and the train will meet up at the same time. The tour does not include a ride on the Jacobite Steam Train. The Jacobite Steam Train will run from May 5th 2025 - September 26th 2025.
Please note: This tour is designed to pack into one day as much as possible of Scotland’s highlights! While much of the journey is enjoyed from the comfort of the coach due to the distance covered, you will experience breathtaking views and scenery along the way.

Admission Ticket FreeTime permitting, we'll pause for photos at Neptune's Staircase. The staircase lock comprises of eight locks on the caledonian canal, and raises the canal by 19m (62ft). It was built in the early 1800s and is the longest staircase lock in Britain.Glenfinnan Viaduct
1 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeWe spend plenty of time at Glenfinnan to see the monument and its Viaduct. We arrive just in time to see the Jacobite Steam train cross over the bridge; so don't forget to bring your camera for this iconic photo! 30 minsAdmission Ticket FreeAs we journey back down south, passing through the spectacular Cairngorms National Park, our final stop of the day is Pitlochry, a small town to the north of Edinburgh. Stop here for refreshments and enjoy wandering its small streets before we continue onwards to Edinburgh, where our tour ends. During peak months the itinerary may be run in reverse to avoid congestion at attractions and refreshment stops. When running in reverse we will pass through Pitlochry but stop at alternative location for refreshments.
