Overlooking the breathtaking views of the Swan River from our harvest room,
you and your guest are treated to Margaret River sparkling wine and the rare
delicacy of pearl meat. Learn how and why the finest pearls in the world grow
in Western Australia. We’ll take you on a journey of discovery from the
history of pearling to the intricate practices of modern Western Australian
pearl farming.

You’ll then be invited to harvest your very own pearl,* straight from its
oyster. Due to the nature of pearl farming, the value of the pearl inside
remains unknown until the breath-taking moment its oyster is opened and the
pearl is harvested. If the harvested pearl is valued between $500 and $3,000,
it is yours to keep!

After the pearl has been harvested, you’ll be taken through the grading
process and given the opportunity to have your pearl made into a stunning
piece of jewellery.

1. Pearl Discovery Presentation

Get a behind-the-scenes look into the process of modern pearl farming as they
view a _Pinctada maxima _oyster brought directly from Willie Creek Pearl
Farm in Broome for this exclusive group experience. Discover how the anatomy
of this fascinating creature combines with the natural elements of the
Kimberley landscape to create a stunning natural gem.

2. An Exciting Live Pearl Harvest

Experience the breathtaking moment as you harvest your very own pearl,
straight from its oyster. The value of the pearl inside remains unknown until
the moment the oyster is opened. If the pearl is valued between $500 and
$3,000, it is yours to keep*, or to exchange for a gift card of equal value to
put towards jewellery and retail products in our showrooms. If the pearl is
valued at under $500 you receive a $500 jewellery gift card. If the pearl is
worth over $3,000, you will receive a $3,000 jewellery gift card.

1. Pearl Valuation and Selection

After the pearl has been harvested, you will be taken through the grading
process and explore the five key virtues that influence its value. These
virtues and how we use them to evaluate pearls will be explained.

1. A Rare Delicacy - Pearl Meat & Sparkling Wine

A rare and expensive delicacy, pearl meat comes from the pearl producing
_Pinctada maxima _oyster used at Willie Creek Pearl Farm. Enjoy a
complimentary taste as part of your tour experience and a glass of Margaret
River sparkling wine.

1. Guided Introduction To Our Showroom

Marvel our stunning range of pearl jewellery, featuring our sustainably
produced Australian South Sea Pearls, as well as many different types of
pearls sourced from all over the world. You will also have the opportunity to
turn the pearl you harvested into a stunning piece of jewellery.

Harvest Your Own Pearl is a private interactive experience for 1 person, while
1 spectator is also able to share the experience with the guest on the day. It

As part of the Harvest Your Own Pearl experience, guests are given an
opportunity

to harvest their own Australian South Sea Pearl straight from a Pinctada

maxima oyster. Due to the unpredictable nature of pearl farming, the value

of the pearl cannot be known until the breathtaking moment when the oyster is

opened.

Upon valuation of the pearl, customers are bound by the following
conditions:

• If the pearl is valued between $500 and $3,000 AUD, it is yours to keep, or to
  
  exchange for a gift card of equal value, to put towards jewellery purchases in
  
  Willie Creek Pearls’ showrooms.

  
  

• I f the pearl is valued at over $3,000 AUD, Willie Creek Pearls will retain the pearl and you
  
  will receive a $3,000 AUD jewellery gift card.

  
  

• If the pearl is valued at under $500 AUD or deemed not of merchantable quality, Willie Creek
  
  Pearls will retain the pearl and you will receive a $500 AUD jewellery gift
  
  card.

  
  

• If a Keshi pearl is harvested, Willie Creek Pearls will retain the pearl and you will receive a
  
  gift card per the conditions outlined above.

  
  

Willie Creek Pearls reserves the right to retain pearls harvested during the
Harvest Your Own Pearl experience. There is a maximum of two attendees per
oyster. The oyster harvested is pre-selected in Broome. This experience is not
redeemable for cash.
