Highlights
Indonesia's largest Hindu temple has mysterious origins. No one knows who built the beautiful Prambanan Temple, but historians name the 9th-century king of Wangsa Sanjaya as the prime suspect. Prambanan held contents of the Syiwagrha inscription, now stored at the National Museum in Jakarta.

It was extremely nice, in particular that I had forgotten that Prambanan Temple is closed on Monday but because it was Christmas it was open.
