The River House Experience combines history, nature, tranquility, hiking, road trip, and fun. An important part of the local 'paisa' lifestyle is the 'finca' culture, or country houses, being in nature, disconnecting from the city noise, enjoying a drink and some great food, listening to the birds singing. This region also shows us great colonial heritage which is not easy to find anymore in modern-day Colombia. The trip is completely private and customized, travelers can modify the tour as they like. This colonial town is a living museum, with cobblestone streets, whitewashed buildings adorned with wooden balconies, and a picturesque main square. Its rich history is palpable as you stroll through its well-preserved streets, lined with centuries-old churches, museums, and charming plazas. We walk around, have lunch, coffee, then we head back to the bridge where we left the car, and continue our journey.Olaya
