This is our most popular menu item. This dish uses one and a half eel and is an excellent way to fully enjoy Nagoya's speciality, Hitsumabushi (sliced grilled eel). The dish uses about one and a half thick and large eels from among the eels processed that day. The special eel rice box with three slices of an eel cut in half is a dynamic and hearty dish that gives you the true flavour of the eel. Enjoy the crispy skin and fluffy meat of our hittemabushi and unadon (bowl of eel rice topped with rice topped with eel), made with eel selected every day without compromise and cooked with our 'secret sauce' that has been continuously added for 55 years! We also serve Fukui sake to accompany such delicacies as grilled liver and "umaki"(eel rolled egg).
The restaurant is fully equipped with a bar-style counter, tatami room, table seating and private rooms. Please enjoy our delicious eel while gazing at the courtyard.
