• Watching the red leaves in Tai Tong Country Park

The red leaves in the Tai Tong section of Tai Lam Country Park in Yuen Long
are not as red as those in South Korea and Japan. Although they are sparsely
distributed, there are several locations where the red leaves are densely
packed. There is a section of about 500 meters long that has been built by the
Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department as a maple viewing route.
On the left side are planted evergreen trees, the South China Green Tree, and

• Ping Shan Heritage Trail (Teng Gong Ancestral Hall, Jing Ting Study Room, Ju Xing House)

  and ancestor worship. When the British army occupied the New Territories in
  1899, the library was used as a temporary police station and land office.

granite and the outer columns are made of red sandstone. The most distinctive
feature is that the main entrance of the ancestral hall has no threshold, but
