Before booking, please ensure your mobile device is eSIM compatible and unlocked.
Devices that are NOT supported:
Carrier-locked phones, Apple watches, and iPhone models purchased in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China.
iPhone with 2 physical SIM card slots.
Samsung S20 or certain series models that originate from Canada, USA and Hong Kong.

Good To Know
You may install eSIM before travelling (before your flight) or, at your destination when you need it. To successfully install eSIM, a stable Internet connection is required. eSIM can only be installed once.
Do NOT delete or remove your eSIM from your device after successful installation until end of your trip or selected duration, whichever earlier.
You can have different eSIM plans installed on your device.
Data speed varies depending on the country and location.
If you encounter any service disruption such as unable to connect to the internet, slow speed, APN settings or any other service disruption after inserting the card, please contact the operator’s customer service at: hello@frewie.com (email) and chat via https://frewie.com, indicating booking details and issue faced.

Frequently asked questions
I received the Pelago voucher but I am unable to scan the eSIM for Jakarta.
Do not scan the QR Code in your Pelago voucher as it is not the eSIM QR code. Look out for a separate email from Freewie containing the eSIM QR code and instructions.
I have not received the eSIM QR code from Freewie.
Please check your Spam/Junk folder for the email from Freewie and allow up to 1 working day to receive the email, unless you wish to activate before tomorrow. If you wish to activate your eSIM before tomorrow and have yet to receive the eSIM QR code email, contact Pelago Customer Care.
I mistakenly scanned the eSIM QR code on the wrong device. Can I undo or delete the activated eSIM?
eSIM can only be installed once. Do NOT delete or remove your eSIM from your device after successful installation.
