Meet your local guide at 9.30 am in front of the tourist office, next to Reims centre train station.
Drive through the Champagne region and enjoy a moment in the vineyards and acquire knowledge about the particularities of our “terroir”. You will then discover the village of Hautvillers, birthplace of champagne, where the famous monk Dom Pérignon is buried.
Appreciate the charming hillsides of the Champagne region and peek-behind-the-scenes of a family-run winery. Visit the traditional press, tank room and cellar of an authentic champagne grower. Enjoy several tastings of their best–seller “cuvees”.
Then, be welcomed at a champagne house, be introduced to the champagne tasting and enjoy a lunch with more champagne.
Go back to Reims and visit the famous Maison Mumm (if not available can be replaced by a similar house) and enjoy their emblematic cuvée.
After a day full of experiences and precious souvenirs, your guide will drop you off in Reims 5.30 pm.
