Get a download of the history of venice, who the doges were, see the magnificent doge palace and its hidden dark side. The basilica was grandeur and capture the scenic view from the terrace. Guide was a walking history book. Lots of steps, don’t expect any lifts in such historical buildings, just take one step at a time. Worth every dollar.
