Our driver and guide Arif was amazing. He is knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions about life in Bintan, where to get good food, best places for food souvenir shopping. His English is excellent and fluent. He took us to all the places listed in the tour and patiently waited for us, taking care to drop us off at the sheltered areas before going to park the car. There was plenty of bottled water in the car. The tour was interesting with a boat ride to The mangroves. The number of animals spotted is always dependent on luck. Mr Jomes who took us on a walking tour at the Eco Safari park was friendly and laughing with us the entire way. Pondok 11 had plenty of food to sample , esp good was the lapis. MAny types of Keropok and kerepik are also available. Bonus is that they can deliver to lapis fresh to hotel on our departure day.
