Itinerary
Start of Tour (8:50AM, 11:50AM)
Equipped with leather walking boots and other equipment, you board the helicopter for your first flight over the pinnacles of the lower icefall. Here, the ice is in constant motion.Heli Flight Landing
Your landing site on the ice is a remote and exceptionally beautiful part of the glacier. You will see the stunning Victoria Falls, which is the melted river from the hidden Victoria glacier.Hike
At this stage, your guide outfits you with crampons, specially designed for these ice conditions and you follow the ice steps cut by your guide as you explore the amazing ice formations.Ice Time

Monday - Sunday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM
What To Bring
3 – 4 layers of warm upper body clothing.
Comfortable trousers or shorts in summer (no jeans).
Sunglasses and sun protection.
For winter trips, bring a warm hat and gloves.
A day pack with drinks and snacks.
Your own boots and raincoats may be suitable, check with your guide.
Good To Know
Minimum age 9 years.
This trip is weather dependant. Due to helicopter safety requirements each passenger is limited to ONE item with a maximum carry on weight of up to 5kg. If you choose to take your own bag, the following criteria will be used to assess suitability: Maximum weight of 5kg; Closes securely; No excessive strapping and/or external pockets; No large bags. If your bag is deemed to be unsuitable by us, we will provide you with a bag for the duration of your trip. Camera tripods are not suitabe for our general Flying Fox: The Heli Hike trip.
Our trips are weather dependant, final call for the trip going ahead or not is made at check in time.
Booking Confirmation
Your booking will be confirmed by the provider within 24 hours.
Refund/Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be processed if cancelled at least 24 hours before date of selection. No refund will be processed if cancelled less than 24 hours before the date of selection.
Advanced Booking
Please book at least 72 hours prior to your date of selection to guarantee your booking.

Fox Glacier Heli Hiking
Highly recommend!! Well preparation from fox glacier guiding so no need to prepare yourself much just enjoy with the glacier. If you travel to Southern of New Zealand, land on glacier and do some activities is the good choice. All staffs are friendly. I love it!
It is a great experience on the glacier where you have enough time to explore and enjoy.
