Highlights
Head out on a 25 minute shuttle from Queenstown to Arrowtown. There's the opportunity to explore Arrowtown and grab a coffee before starting your ride.
The route follows the stunning Arrow River Trail, crossing the river via a few spectacular bridges. From there, you'll join the Twin Rivers Trail, which follows the the Kawarau and Shotover rivers to the shores of Lake Whakatipu, with a few big climbs on this section. The ride finishes back at Around The Basin's shop in central Queenstown (3 Searle Lane).
This is an awesome adventure day, and a great way to explore the purpose-built biking trails. A detailed map and full navigation is given at the start of your ride.
The minimum riding distance is 35 km (21 miles) with a few decent hills. This ride is only for those who are confident and capable riders, with a good level of fitness. E-bike upgrades are also recommended.
Shuttle depart Queenstown as follows:
