An interesting tour for sure. It was a 2.5-hour walking tour starting at Stock Exchange (Beursplein 5). We walked around the key landmarks, specifically around the Centraal area, covering areas like Old Church, Chinatown, and the Old Jewish Quarters. The route was a loop and finished at the National Monument. The guide, Berber, was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and had a passion for humanitarian causes. What could have made it better would have been some practical tips about Amsterdam, such as an overview on the layout of the city, best ways to move around, lesser-known attractions or activities, etc. (To be fair, she did answer these types of questions when asked, but this could have been part of the default 'script'). I would recommend this tour to first-time visitors to get a feel for the lay of the land in this part of the city.
