Naejangsan serves as the centerpiece of Naejangsan National Park, situated
close to the city of Jeongeup. It stands out as a popular tourist spot,
especially during autumn when its breathtaking foliage captivates visitors.
The name "Naejang" implies boundless hidden beauty within the mountain.
Positioned on the border of Jeong-up and Sun-chang, this mountain is renowned
as one of Korea's finest. Its stunning fall colors have attracted attention
for more than five centuries. Danpung is a Korean word that refers to the
maple tree. 108 Danpung Tunnel is famous during the fall foliage season. This
path is lined with 108 maple trees that resemble a tunnel, making it one of
the best walking paths in Naejangsan National Park.
