The Thepprasit Honey farm was originally set up in 1999 and the very next year were the winners of the Honey contest at the Asisa Apiculture Expo in Chiangmai. They reached the coveted GMP and ISO 9001 quality system accreditation in 2005, and the next year won the Quality Goods Mark by the Ministry of Agriculture in Thailand. In 2007 the Thai organic beekeeper association and organic supplier network was begun, and 3 years later the Pattaya Big Bee Farm opened for education. Then they stepped in up a notch by starting the first apitherapy clinic in Thailand in 2011. The apitherapy clinic specializes in treating a variety of medical conditions using various products produced by Thai Honey Bees.
