Embark on a unique opportunity to swim with the highly sought-after undersea
treasure, the whale shark. Located in Yomitan Village at the heart of
Okinawa's main island, the meeting point is just a 10-minute boat ride from
the port to the specially equipped whale shark breeding site, featuring a
protective net for a secure swimming experience. Choose from snorkeling,
diving, or fun diving (exclusive to licensed divers), and get ready for a
close encounter with these majestic creatures!

Check-in, provide information, change clothes, receive a briefing on the itinerary, and set off (arriving at the designated location in about 10 minutes)
Swim and snorkel with whale sharks for about 30–40 minutes
Experience diving with whale sharks for about 20–30 minutes
Enjoy fun diving with whale sharks for about 30–40 minutes
Disband after returning, showering, and changing clothes

Additional information
- Registration is open only for foreign guests aged 59 and younger
- Guests who are flying on the same day cannot sign up for the Diving and Fun Diving itineraries
- Participants with heart diseases, respiratory diseases (such as asthma), ear and nose diseases, neurological or mental diseases, joint or motor nervous system diseases, and diabetes are not allowed to participate in this trip
- Elementary school students must be accompanied by their parents, while middle school students and minors require a consent form signed by their family members
- We can provide Chinese or English support, but availability may vary. If needed, please inform us in the comments when making a reservation
- When registering, please provide the name, age, height, weight, and foot size of all participants
- Prescription diving goggles for myopia are available. If needed, please inform us of the degree in 0.00 units; otherwise, we will not be able to provide them. Due to limited availability, the prescription may not fully meet guest needs. It is recommended to wear disposable contact lenses
- The current whale shark is a new friend and has not yet adapted to humans. Guests participating in Fun Diving cannot enter the net and can only dive outside the net. Please be informed
- The Fun Diving itinerary does not include diving equipment. If needed, please inform us in advance and pay an additional JPY3,200 on-site
- Guests participating in Fun Diving must bring a diving license and have more than 10 diving experiences after acquiring the diving license; 1 of the dive must be within the past 6 months. Please inform us of the number of previous diving experiences when registering; otherwise, the reservation will not be accepted. Additionally, guests must bring their diving license on the day of participation. If it is discovered on the day of participation that the the guest does not meet the qualifications, they will not be able to participate in the activity, and no refund will be provided.
