Discover the pristine Clyde river on the South Coast NSW by Kayak on this
popular experience. Kayak in our comfortable vessels to remote river
stretches, inaccessible pockets of mangroves and see the Oyster industry up
close! Stop to swim, enjoy morning tea, or simply bask in the natural beauty.
We paddle from the town of Batemans bay to the town of Nelligen - 1 way with
the tide and arrange a shuttle to return - be prepared to assist with this -
your guides will arrange the movements based on tides.
If you have never been in a sit in kayak, then be prepared to be impressed.
They are safe, comfortable, and perfect for river cruising. Every tour starts
with a kayaking lesson, so you know the basics before setting off. In no time
you will be navigating river and mangrove passages and gliding tide assisted
with ease.
This is the perfect tour for spotting birds, schools of fish, somtimes playful
seals and dolphins enter the river.
The Clyde is well known for being one of the cleanest rivers in NSW and for
that reason the Oysters are thriving! Learn a thing or 2 as your guides share
the river stories.
Our Half Day river Tour isn’t JUST about kayaking. Once we’ve chosen the
perfect remote spot in which to land, we will pull up to relax, and enjoy
treats, fruit, hot coffee and cold juice. Once we feel replenished by nature,
we’ll set off again for the final kayaking leg.
