• Please check-in 30 minutes prior to departure at the meeting point. Failure to check-in on time will forfeit your entitlement to a refund or rescheduling.
• We are conveniently located between the Edge Hotel and Magic Ice Bar, directly in front of Prostneset Harbour. Look for our shop with a large "Booking Point" sign, and our company name, NorthernShots Tours, displayed on all windows and signs.

• Activities in the Arctic regions come with natural risks due to extreme weather conditions, such as avalanches, frozen ground, and snowstorms. Temperatures can drop as low as -30°C (-22°F). Dress appropriately and be cautious when exploring.
• The operator reserves the right to cancel excursions if weather conditions are dangerous, with a full refund provided.
• We run tours regardless of weather conditions, including cloudy, rainy, or snowy nights, as the Northern Lights can still be visible.
• Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and sightings cannot be guaranteed.
• If you don’t see the Northern Lights on your first tour, you’ll receive a 50% discount for a future Aurora tour, subject to availability. Please note, we are often fully booked from December 15th to January 9th.
• The duration of the tour can vary depending on weather conditions. If the weather is challenging, we may drive for extended periods to find a clear spot. Similarly, if the Northern Lights appear early, the tour may finish earlier.
• The tour may involve sitting in the vehicle for several hours as we search for the Northern Lights. The tour may stay in one location or move between various spots for the best views.
• No refunds will be provided due to weather conditions, temperatures inside or outside the vehicle, or if the Northern Lights are not visible.
• During high season, Tromsø can see up to five times more visitors. Expect large crowds, and be aware that our guides may need to park near other vehicles.
• We are not responsible for any missed flights or boats due to late returns from the tour. Any costs for rebooking tickets or accommodation are your responsibility.
• Eating is not allowed inside the vehicle.
• Toilet breaks are not always possible during the tour, especially if the vehicle is traveling on roads where stopping isn’t feasible.
• If a vehicle encounters issues (e.g., a flat tire or being stuck on an icy road), we cannot offer refunds. These situations are considered natural incidents and are typically resolved within 2 hours. Please be patient and understanding with our team. For complaints regarding vehicle issues, please address them directly to the transport company.
• By booking with us, you agree that NorthernShots Tours owns full copyrights of any photos taken during the tour. Photos may be uploaded to a third-party platform and monetised. If you do not wish to be photographed or have your images published, please inform us and your guide before the tour.

• Infants and small children can travel in a pram or stroller.
• Specialized infant seats are available upon request.

• On some tours, we may cross into Finland to find the best spot for viewing the Northern Lights. Please bring your passport or ID card.
• While the vehicle is usually heated, it may cool down in extremely cold conditions. Dress in warm layers to stay comfortable throughout the tour, both inside and outside the bus.

If fewer than 16 guests book, the guide may also be the driver. Some vehicles may not have onboard toilets. Depending on the vehicle, up to 50 travelers may be on each bus.
