Evening, you will be driven to a nearby river to enjoy a romantic private cruise dinner. You will arrive and board a beautifully decorated ferry to embark on your romantic dinner. The ferry is lit with natural lanterns as you glide around 300-500 meters at a low speed along the scenic river. Surrounded by mangrove vegetation, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as you are served by a personal butler, a chef, and a ferryman. You can select any of the three specially designed 4-course dinner menus with a choice of seafood, meat or Sri Lankan/Eastern specialties. A bottle of sparkling wine is served to complement your dinner and tea and coffee will be served at the end of the meal.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a city tour in Kandy. To the Buddhists of Sri Lanka and the World, Kandy is one of the most sacred sites as it is the home of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. During this city tour, you will cover Bahirawakanda temple, upper lake drive, art, and craft center, cultural show and Kandy temple.

Your train journey takes you on a scenic ride through some of the most beautiful highland countryside areas in Sri Lanka. Watch the brilliant greens carpets of the tea plantations. See the picturesque villages with misty mountain backdrops pass by. Peer through drizzle and mist to look at the magical landscapes of Hill Country. Enjoy the amazing sights of intimidating mountains, deep and dark woodlands, and magnificent waterfalls as they go by your windows.

Proceed with an exciting TukTuk tour through the tea plantations and narrow roads to the Poonagala hill which is one of the most impressive viewpoints of Sri Lanka known as Lipton’s seat. The place gets this name after the famous tea planter Sir Thomas Lipton used this place to survey the surrounding region of his tea plantations. It is a panoramic overlooking destination in Sri Lanka. Several lakes, the sacred mountain of Weda hiti Kanda, Hambanthota harbor located in the southern coastal area can be seen remarkably.

The palm-fringed bay and picturesque coves of Tangalle is a natural treasure. This is a lazy town littered with gentle reminders of the Dutch days of the 18th century and beautiful villas looking out over the shimmering sands of Seenimodera.

(If time permits) Galle Fort was built by the Portuguese in 1588, and then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century. It is a historical, archaeological and architectural heritage monument, which even after more than 423 years maintains a polished appearance, due to extensive reconstruction work was done by the Archaeological Department of Sri Lanka. The heritage value of the fort has been recognized by UNESCO and the site has been inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
