I want to guide you through the city with good entertainment, tell you historical stories and show you my favorite places for food that you will never forget!
My tour plan is around Kyoto Station and we can go easily by walking, so that we can avoid the crowded buses and trains! The temple I want to show you is really impressive one with a long history, yet it is luckily not overloaded with tourists like Fushimi Inari Shrine or Kiyomizu Temple! I want to show you that you can experience traditional Kyoto feeling near Kyoto Station on foot without long waiting lines, too!

Higashi Hongan-ji Temple
1 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeWe visit the gigantic wooden structure (one of the biggest in the world!), the Higashi-Honganji Temple, not far from Kyoto Station. If we are luck the monks hold a ceremony there. I can tell you a lot about Japanese culture and history in a fun way!Shimogyo-ku
1 hours 30 minsAdmission Ticket FreeLunch: If you book a tour during lunch time, we go to my favourite restaurant to eat tempura. It is so delicious that you will never forget! There is also a vegetarian menu. (Lunch cost not included in tour price. Approx. 1000 Yen/pp) Dinner: If you book a tour during dinner time, I take you to one of my favorite izakaya, Japanese-style bar, for local food and drinks! I can give you my recommendations for yummy dishes and snacks that locals would order! (Dinner cost not included in tour price. Approx. 5000 Yen/pp incl. drinks)
