Pick Up Location:
Take note of your pick up location and time on this confirmation, and make
sure you are aware of where you need to be on the day. There is a handy Google
Maps link to help direct you to the right place. Aim to get there 10 minutes
before the departure time, and that way we can head off on tour without any
delay, and enjoy that extra time on the Milford Road. Tip - look out for a
Mercedes van!
Heli back:
What an incredible way to finish your day in Milford Sound! After your cruise,
you will be introduced to your pilot for a fantastic scenic helicopter flight
back to Queenstown (approx. 45 mins). We will need your body weight in kg/lbs
in advance, so if you haven’t already done so, please let us know your weights
and we will pass this information on to our flight partner. Please note the
helicopter company does require a minimum of 4 people booked to operate, and
our team will be in touch if this flight is not confirmed ahead of time.
Lunch Options:
When you booked, you would have had the option to add on a packed picnic lunch
and it will be mentioned on this confirmation. Not sure? Just ask!
If you have added lunch, you will receive this when we arrive in Milford
Sound, before your cruise (around 12:45pm). This picnic lunch comes with a
gourmet chicken sandwich, but if you’d prefer the meat-less option, then you
can request to change this to a vegetarian sandwich up until 5pm the day
prior. If you have any other dietary preference, let us know, and we'll do our
best to whip up some fantastic alternatives for you.
Decided to sort lunch yourself? No worries. Just be mindful that we are
traveling into a remote area, with limited options to purchase food, and we
can’t guarantee they will have something you’d like. We recommend you organise
food in Queenstown, and have this ready with you before we pick you up on the
day.
Dress for the occasion:
We recommend wearing layers, comfortable shoes and if traveling in winter,
gloves and a warm hat.
Stay Hydrated and Eco-Friendly:
We're all about keeping things green! Please bring a trusty water bottle with
you, as we've taken the eco-conscious step of ditching single-use plastic. If
you don't have one, fear not – reusable water bottles are available for
purchase during the tour, or you can make use of the complimentary water at
each location we stop at.
