Established in July 1958 as the 13th quasi-national park in Japan and the sole
one in southern Hokkaido, this park is made up of 9,083 hectares of scenic
beauty, spanning the regions of Nanae-cho Kameda-gun, Shikabe-cho Kayabe-gun,
and Mori-machi.

While journeying on your Segway, you'll ride through lush grasslands, and
birch and oak forests. You might even spot native creatures such as Ezo flying
squirrels and red foxes! The moderately wild trails cater to both novice and
