A day trip tour to Proboscis monkeys and fireflies near Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo provides a chance to spend an afternoon and evening traveling through a mangrove forest situated in Sabah. It will be departing from your hotel around one an half hours drive reach our jetty. When we arrive at the jetty, coffee/tea and local made cakes will be served. Arrive jetty, cruise along the River Cruise with mangroves on either side of the river in search of Proboscis monkeys, Macaque Long tail, Silver Leaf monkeys, birds and monitor lizards. At night amazed by Borneo’s sunset and by nightfall, be amazed by hundreds of blinking fire flies lighting the mangrove trees as Christmas trees.

It is located in the Interior Division of Sabah, and is about 100 kilometres south of Sabah's capital Kota Kinabalu. Weston is one of the towns along the Pan Borneo Highway. The bizarre-looking proboscis monkey gaining as much popularity with the tourists as the orang utan, the Weston Wetland with its large proboscis population is fast becoming the latest ecotourism destination in Sabah.
