## Trip Itinerary
We leave Sydney before 8am for the 2.5 hour journey north-west with a stop on the way for refreshments before arriving in the Hunter Valley.
We visit three wineries where you taste a variety of different wines, only available at the cellar door. You learn about the story behind each winery, walk amongst the vines, and learn what makes the Hunter Valley so special.
Lunch is a choice of delicious dishes accompanied by a complimentary glass of wine or beer. You can try the 10+ craft beers on tap with a beer tasting paddle (own expense)
It's then off to a local distillery for tastings or organic vodka, gin and schnapps! End your day with some cheese and chocolate tastings,
A day wouldn't be complete without some photos and spotting the local kangaroos that roam the vines!

#Tour Information
*What venues will we visit?*
The tour itinerary includes a visit to 2 boutique cellar doors / wineries with each one providing a unique experience. We also visit a local craft brewery and a distillery.
*Can I buy wine on the day?*
Yes, you can purchase wine from the wineries we visit, as well as cheese as we take along a cooler bag to keep your cheese chilled.
*Is there room on the bus to store any wine I buy?*
Yes, no problem. There are always specials available where we visit, so it's fun to take home a bottle or two of wonderful Hunter Valley wine.

## Trip Itinerary
• Our guide plays relaxing tunes as you head north across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, over the Hawkesbury River, onto Australia's oldest wine production region — the renowned Hunter Valley!
• First stop is an outstanding boutique winery where an expert takes you through tastings of their outstanding red and white wines including the region's famous varietals including shiraz and semillon.
• We visit a second charming cellar door before lunch for more private wine tastings
• Next it's off to a local brewery for a banquet style lunch where you can choose (own expense) which local beverage to enjoy with your meal. There is a another cellar door nearly or you can walk among the vines taking photos.
• Feeling content, our next stop is spirits tastings at Small Mouth Vodka, home of the unique glitter vodka! Always a laugh and very educational!
• The day ends with some free time to explore the local village to try some local cheese and chocolate samples, hunt down the Dragon Schnapps for a fiery tasting or browse the shops for a memento.
• Throughout the day, you may purchase as much wine and cheese as you please as we take a cooler bag to keep the cheese cool and plenty of room for those bottles or cases of wine

##General Tour Questions
*What if I am running late on the day of my tour?*
Please call us to let us know and we will do our best to make sure you don't miss the bus. However, like a train or plane, we do have a timetable and other passengers to consider. Refunds will not be given if you miss the bus.
*If it is raining, does the tour still operate?*
Our tours operate in all kinds of weather – rain, hail or shine! We may slightly adjust the itinerary if necessary to keep you dry or warm but you won't miss out on anything.
*What do I need to bring on my tour?*
We recommend you bring a bottle of water, camera, hat, sunscreen, a jacket in cooler months and money to buy any extras such as wine and cheese. We also require enclosed shoes for the winery production tour.
*What should I wear?*
Dress comfortably for the season you are visiting. Summers can be quite hot in the Hunter Valley.
*I have allergies/dietary requirements. Will this be catered for?*
Most dietary requirements such as lactose intolerant, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, allergic to nuts or shellfish we can cater for by advising the venue and they will create a meal that is suitable. Please be sure to advise us at time of booking so you can be looked after.
**Transport Information**
*Is there a toilet on the bus?*
We don't have toilets on the bus, but don't worry we make plenty of comfort stops during the day.
*Can I charge my phone on the bus?*
We don't have USB ports on the bus so we suggest you charge you phone before coming on tour.
##Check-in
Please be ready 10 min prior to your pickup time.
On arrival back in Sydney we will drop you off at your pick up location.

**Unruly Behavior**
1. Our staff, employees and contractors reserve the right to eject passengers from the tour at any time during the tour service due to, but not limited to the following:
• Failure of any passenger to follow instructions/directions of drivers and/or venue staff
• Smoking/vaping, drinking alcohol and/or consumption of illicit drugs on the bus
• Disrupting other guests or groups enjoying their experience
• Acting disrespectfully towards any venue staff or member of the public, including other guests in the group
• Using loud, lewd or offensive language and/or gestures
2. In the event that staff suspect illicit drugs are being consumed, the local police will be called to handle the situation.
3. Where Colourful Collective Travel staff and/or venue staff feel intimidated or threatened by one or more members of the group, then the local police will be called and the offenders ejected from the tour.
4. There are no refunds for guests being ejected from the tour due to the factors listed above or any other circumstance that justify such a course of action.
**Cleaning Policy**
If you leave the bus in such a state that extensive cleaning is required (e.g. vomiting, stains on seats) a minimum $200.00 cleaning fee will be charged.

Amazing trip! Branko was a brilliant guide who went above and beyond. He gave great restaurant recommendations and dropped me off in a nearby are.The drive in a luxury Mercedes vehicles was delightful and Brank Wines were good and food delicious. We even got to watch the Melbourne Cup at the restaurant! Only issue I have was that there was a mix up regarding pick up points. I was supposed to leave from Sydney but was mistakenly listed as being picked up from Hunter Valley. That said, the overall quality more than made up for it.
