First, What is illumi Singapore?

Stop, turn, take a look around at all the lights and sounds - let ’em bring you in.

That Yellowcard refrain is a core musical memory for many, and it perfectly captures the vibe of illumi Singapore, the world's largest light, sound, and multimedia event, coming to Singapore on 13 September 2024.

Created by the team behind Cavalia - which, pardon the pun, illuminated Singapore back in 2014 with its horses, acrobats, and special effects at the Bayfront Event Ground - illumi Singapore is making its international premiere in Singapore and will transform the Bayfront Event Space into a magical universe of nine unique worlds and enchanting landscapes.

And get this: the event will feature a mind-boggling 20 million LED lights, larger-than-life structures spanning multicoloured trees, and majestic wildlife.

You heard it here first: get ready for an epic visual feast for the senses like never before.

Twinkling Lights & Themed Worlds: What to Expect

Nothing like magical landscapes and light installations to get the pulses racing.

And at illumi Singapore, being the world's largest, sound, and multimedia event, there'll be plenty of that going on.

Here are some zones for you to check out:

1. The Enchanted Maples

The Enchanted Maples will teleport you right smack into the middle of a world that celebrates Canadian culture - think glowing maple leaves, folk music, sweet treats from the Sugar Shack, and friendly farm animals - something your little ones will undeniably love.

2. The Magical Forest

Go on a phenomenal journey into a kaleidoscopic world made up of multi-coloured mushrooms, giant snails, and other whimsical creatures like flying squirrels giraffes, and swans, all straight out of an Alice in Wonderland-like fairytale land.

3. The Jurassic Kingdom

Roar! Brace yourselves for the Jurassic Kingdom, a zone that brings prehistoric creatures to life, with dinosaurs from the Jurassic-age, living up to their name as rulers of our ancient world.

If you're a Jurassic Park fan, then well, the Jurassic Kingdom will be right up your alley.

4. The Dune Palace

Can't get enough of the movie Dune?

Head to the Dune Palace, a world inspired by the Sahara Desert, where the souk is open under the starry sky, with golden lights, magic floating carpets, genies freed from their lamps, and camels having their fill of freshly picked fruit.

5. The Infinite Poles

Shimmering snowflakes in a winter wonderland - count us in!

Enter an icy, frosty world inspired by the Arctic, with igloos, penguins, stalagmites, and polar wonders of all shapes and sizes.

6. The Tunnel of Colours

As its name suggests, the tunnel of colours is a tunnel of light, sound, and multimedia that'll take your breath away.

But it's not just any tunnel, illumi's psychedelic version will transform reality into a scintillating passage of wonders, with LED lights covering every inch of the tunnel.

7. The Walls of Lights

From sparkling snowflakes to dazzling stars, admire all sorts of illuminated wonders at the Walls of Light.

You've got giant crystals, garlands that cover the ground, and stalagmites that form a Frozen-style world of ice that Elsa would be proud of - what else could you want?

8. Puppies and Kitties

If dogs and kittens are on constant repeat on your TikTok feed, here's a world specially designed for you.

Paw-rent or not, you'll love the giant cats and dogs standing on guard at this massive illuminated park - it's really an animal lover's dream come true here.

9. The illumi Tree: The World's Tallest Tree of Lights

There may be plenty of multi-coloured trees around but here's the star of the show - the massive illumi Tree, a hulking 47-metre-tall structure that's as tall as five Merlions stacked atop one another.

Picture this: 50,000 luminous, interactive spheres, decorating the iconic Singapore skyline the way it deserves to be decorated.

Oh, and next to it is a magical carousel that you can ride, as well!

illumi, a Magical Feast for the Senses

With the international premiere of illumi Singapore just around the corner on 13 September 2024, you’re in for a treat!

This incredible multimedia show will light up the Bayfront Event Space with 20 million LED lights and innovative light installations, transforming it into a magical wonderland.

And, of course, don’t miss the illumi Tree, the world’s tallest tree of lights at a towering 47 metres tall!

At the end of the day, illumi Singapore promises a dazzling and immersive experience for everyone.
